in Start here and say hello!

Hi 👋 I’m new, mostly bed bound due to chronic pain condition, no friends anymore as if you cancel a lot they stop inviting you! I get it. Looking to better understand the world of needing benefits to cope financially, it so confusing & hopefully make some friends on the way. Uc royally messing with payments then refuse to reply to my journal messages, I’ve asked them to call me as it’s getting so complicated and they just ignore. On hold to them for an hour then just cut off! Any advice

    Thank you for telling us a little bit about yourself. I'm sorry to hear you have lost friends, hopefully you will find the community to be a warm and welcoming space and build some friendships here😊

    That sounds really frustrating with Universal Credit, if you find you keep getting cut off then it may be worth putting in a complaint espcially if it is causing you mental and physical stress.
