Pip assessment (phone)

so I have managed to get a phone appointment for my first review assesment instead of going face to face. Now I am scared. Since yesterday I have developed this severe flare up because of stress I guess. My pip claim was for my psoriatic arthritis and fibrimyalgia got diagnosed after being awarded. I am struggling more than before now with pain, fatigue, joint stiffness. I have filled the forms very briefly and explained everything in the them. I was hoping to get enhanced rate instead of stamdar like before. Anyways now I have phone assessment. Please give some advice and hope so I can calm my self down and decrease my stress level.

Hi @535mum that's completely understandable, it's a daunting process. So many people have said similar things when going through it. I'm just sorry it's making you flare up as well as the stress. It's a silver lining that you've got a phone appointment though, that'll make it a little easier, you can be in your safe space. And a lot of the people initially worried have said it wasn't as bad as they thought it would be and that the assessor was really friendly and understanding.

Try to write things down in bullet points to have something to refer to during the telephone call.

Think about how you struggle to do things.. what help you receive and, how you feel during and after these activities.
