Budgeting Advance
Hi everyone I would like some advice please. My cooker has broken and I am struggling for money. I am in receipt of universal credit lcwra due to my health.
I live on my own in a flat.
Would I be able to get a budgeting advance?
How much would I be able to borrow?
What information would I need to provide?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
A Budgeting Advance can be used to buy a cooker, this is what its designed for. You can apply quickly by calling:
Telephone: 0800 328 5644
You should be able to get upto £348 (if single), you will just need your NI number handy and they will explain everything with you when you call.

Hi @ronaldo89. To add to what Rubin has said, here is a link to some more information .
Have you checked that you're claiming everything that you're entitled to? It might be worth using a benefits calculator if not
