I've just had an email from STH, there's been a serious data breach leading to Patients' data, potentially including mine, being leaked.
Do I need to do anything?

I'd suggest contacting them to understand what exactly has happened and the information impacted (including whether your personal information has), and what steps they're taking to protect the information. It is their responsibility to keep your data safe and make you aware of any steps you need to take.

You need to sue them for negligent data storage. Let them pay for their mess with money.
