Are there any UK mobile networks who DON'T sell mobile numbers to scammers?

I'm currently on O2, all I ever seem to get is spam calls who hang up as soon as I answer and say "Hello?", SO annoying.

I am desperate to change providers, especially seeing as my Airtime/Device plan were paid off in late April, but are all networks the same? Do they sell off your data to spammers/scammers?

Your phone number is usually found through a data breach from a company that has your phone number on file, not the network provider. It's best not to answer the phone as that then tells the spammers that the number is active and they'll pass your details onto more spammers. Does your phone say if it suspects it's a spam call? I have an iPhone and above the number it says 'Suspected Spam' so I don't answer it.

I've been on O2 for more than 10 years and don't get any spam calls at all.

I am extremely careful with my number though. I always give a fake number to anyone who doesn't need it for legal reasons…

Most calls do come up as "suspected spam", even some that's genuine, so I answer it anyway in case it is genuine, which is almost never the case.

I never answer them and assume that if they wanted to speak to me they would leave a message. I think a lot of people are aware that nowadays people aren't keen on answering calls from an unknown number.
