I'm 65 years of age and in the past couple of months I've been diagnosed with both autism andd ADHD. It was such a shock as my being autistic had ever been mentioned before. I've met others in a similar situation and have decided to use my writing skills to help others in the neurodivergent community, especially in Brighton but elsewhere too. I edit a totally free blog called THE MAG with listings, news, reviews and interviews. https://themagbrighton.blogspot.com/

Hi @steve1961 and welcome to the community! I can imagine that was quite a shock if you'd never thought about it before. How do you feel about it now?

That's wonderful that you've started a blog for your community 😊 I've just edited the link slightly so when someone clicks on it it goes straight to your site.

It was a shock. Never had it been mentioned in the many medical appointments I've had in my life. Just wish I'd been told earlier but I keep hearing about others who have had the same happen to them. Thanks for the link. I'd love to include Scope in my blog.

I think that's a sentiment that a lot of people share. Getting a diagnosis helps explain certain things about yourself. It's great that you're using it to help others 😊
