WILL MY PIP AWARD BE REVIEWED IF I MOVE TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS?

Hi

I've been told to move out by my parents, and I'm on enhanced PIP for both parts. Will my PIP award be reviewed, or re-assessed, with new application/evidence etc, when I move out?

    No moving out shouldn't automatically trigger a PIP review 😊

    Hi Mary,

    but is that a "shouldn't" or a "definitely will not"? There is a subtle but very important difference.

    As no one here works for the DWP we can't answer "definitely won't".

    Once you move out you'll need to let PIP know your new address.

    PIP is awarded for the help you need, not the help you get. Moving home doesn't change the help you need.

    So I agree with Rosie, it shouldn't trigger any kind of review.

    A change of address does not trigger a review of a claim.

    I moved 2.5 years ago, going from living with my ex-wife to living on my own. It didn't result in a review. I am also on enhanced pip.
