PiP claim denied didnt even read assesment

Hi im new posting but been following for few months now.

I applied for pip 1st may filled in online form and paper form.

Had message about assesment 29th may had it on 3rd july in morning. They contacted my doctors who happily gave all medical history . Applied due to nerve damage in my right leg arthitis right kner sciatica right hip anxiety poor balance had several falls.

Asked for assesment report on 8th july received and noticed alot of words saying previous 0 points kept reading 0 points everything contadicting the assessment. She put unable decision maker put able to walk 200 meters

Again unable to wash hair due to standing to long

Decision maker able to get into bath

All previous

I cant get up my stairs let alone into bath up stairs. I use a stool to sit on to cook wash in kitchen i sleep down stairs

Can dress unadid

My daughter under young carers my friend takes me shopping this is all stated in report along with all prescriptions mental health appoint ments but 0 points as said no proof but proof was there in black and white. Request mandortary redecision on 6th july once received descision fully. Hoping they change as dont think i could cope with tribunal but beeb told i can do over phone of it has to go that far.

Hi @Mumof3senmum, sorry to hear this has happened to you. You definitely wouldn't be the first to say that your assessment report didn't reflect what you said in your assessment. It's always so disheartening when you don't feel you've been properly listened to.

It's good that you felt able to put in for a mandatory reconsideration. And please do consider taking it to tribunal if it comes to that. Many people find they have a much better result once they get to tribunal, but I can understand how daunting it can feel to have to fight even more.
