Hi all,

I have read some great advice on here on another thread and wondered if anybody had any advice.
I was awarded SDL for PIP Friday just gone, which is great news as it was my first time applying. You hear so many horror stories online about people having to go through to tribunal etc and this will help massively to get equipment for my needs.

My q is, (I haven’t received the report yet - so will await this before doing anything!) but, I wasn’t awarded mobility and I do believe I should of. I have essential tremors which are progressing at quite a quick rate. I saw the neurologist and he agreed that for my age they have progressed very quickly (they are in my hands, legs, head and voice). I can manage around 4 minutes of walking (unsure how many metres that is lol) and then I need to stop due to the instability in my legs, risking falling over. When I try to push through, it hurts and I become so exhausted I could cry. I have asthma too which is fine, but makes everything else ten times worse. Planning and following journeys is challenging due to my ADHD also. I never sent in my neurologist report due to only receiving it the day before my assessment.

wondering if anybody has advice? Re MR and everything else in between.

@lb16617 have you requested and received a copy of the assessors report? It would be worth looking at what they have said for the mobility descriptors. Were you awarded any points at all under mobility?
