Good morning everyone,just coming on here to chat because I feel sick to my stomach with everything that is going on.Its unbelievable really that when you look at what happens in your life you dont think anything else could possibly happen.Then a professional says "its very unfortunate that this oversight has happened to you,but dont worry,we will fix it.It very rarely happens,etc ( but of course it happens to me).Im not going to babble on and moan because its depressing for everyone else and ive had a couple of days of complete crisis and in that state I fully understand you really get no help which is terrifying other than calling 111 or samaritans.of the 2 ive found samaritans 100% better.Its going to be HOT today so hope everyone copes and enjoys whatever they are doing x

Hi Jane. I'm sorry you're in crisis. It's Real Feel 41 degrees today in Málaga, so I'm staying inside too. Thankfully I have AC and lots of fans. So I'm available too if you would like to talk. My roommate Angel is having a tough time too, with her little tongue hanging out....

Ooh 41 degrees is very hot @StarryEyed. Thank goodness for AC! Angel is gorgeous. I believe when they stick their tongue out like that it's referred to as a 'blep' 😄

Just looked, Malaga outside temperature now 30C, here 24C. Humidity 58% here, 64% with you lot.

@ChrisR777 do you guys do Real Feel, which takes into account the humidity? So a high humidity on a hot day makes it feel hotter. So here are yesterday's temps (max 31, Real Feel 41) and today (max 30, Real Feel 40), from AccuWeather.com

BBC Weather just has 21C here, 90% humidity, 40% chance of rain.
If I look up the Met Office website, I now have 20C, feels like 20C, 88% humidity 10% chance of rain. There are other things like wind speed and daily highs and lows, UV level 6, air pollution and pollen levels are low.
The Met Office probably has too much information!

For Malaga in the next hour The Met Office has you down for 33C, feels like 39C, very high 9 UV. The feels like high is 44C, feels like low of 29C.
That's too much for me, I would have to take my holiday in October, that is if I didn't want to spend it all indoors.

Overnight it was 26C indoors and out (26 is my sweat zone) but I survived with all the tips I've learned here! I was up at 6am to open all the windows before sticking on the foil.
There was no breeze last night which usually helps ventilate the rooms. The 'feels like' temperatures tend to be similar where I live.

26C now for your part of London, feels like 27C, feels like high of 34C! Unfortunately a high pollen count, moderate air pollution, high UV 7. We get too much data!

@WhatThe, I'm sorry you're suffering too! There certainly are lots of ways to cope. It's my 13th summer here, so I get better at it every year, picking up new tips every year. I do that too- open the windows in the early morning. Hugely awesome 😎
@ChrisR777, depending on the website, the weather varies somewhat, as you probably know. It's absolutely dreadful today but I have to go out and run errands because the week-long fair starts tonight, so lots of stores will be closed and it's going to be insanely busy everywhere. So I'll mostly cocoon next week. Funny you should mention hibernation because that's the best coping skill I learned this summer - my perspective is to live in summer hibernation much like the winter hibernation I know so well from Canada! Transferrable skills. Oh yeah!! 👍🏼🤸🏼♀️
