Reform UK to scrap PIP, UC health element

We really don't need alot of scaremongering stories, we had all that with the proposed PIP reforms.

It's hardly scaremongering. They are releasing the policy document outlining everything this morning. And they are only behind Labour in the opinion polls. It is three years out, and there's no sense panicking, but people need to keep their eyes on the ball.
Not only this, but we shouldn't overlook Reform are committed to taking us out of the European Court of Human Rights.

Reform are losing popularity, lets hope it continues and that it will have plummeted by the time of the next GE. 😊

And working oneself into a lather about a future general election, how will that help anyone? The decision, however shortsighted or irresponsible, it lies with the electorate in 3 years time.

I like to be informed but I refuse to spend three more years worrying about it. My only worry is that if it isn't spoken about, voters won't realise exactly what they're voting for. But happens every time anyway.

I'd hardly say mawempathy is working their self into a lather about it, more like just being informative so we know what's going on, knowledge can be power.

There are some very valid concerns about what these policies might mean for people. But I think as always, there's a balance to be struck with it. Staying informed about what might happen in the future, but not letting it become overwhelming in your day-to-day life.
I don't think anyone here would want others to be getting anxious about something that might not happen. But when we can't predict the outcome, some might find staying informed is a way to help them feel more in control. Others might prefer to wait and see what happens later on, It's a personal approach that we might not always agree on.
But I hope we can all stay respectful to each other over our individual ways of handling things.

Their policies are now meaningless for the next few years except in the sense they might manipulate government policy, they announcing new welfare policies almost monthly at this point, I expect to keep themselves in the news.
They not government so its no more credible in terms of future policy then hear say on social media.1 -
I rather like nigel he has a nice cheeky smile

I suspect a lack of roughage in his diet.

Please ignore this clickbait from Reform. They are losing in polls because of corrupt donations and need to target a minority group and spread division and hatred. None of their plans or fantasy accounting add up. Jenrick is heading this up to stay relevant whilst Farage and Tice are under investigation for serious fraud. They wouldn’t get this through parliament… plus they will never get in. Let’s hope Farage gets what’s coming to him and as Trump wanes and fails globally he will take these fascists down with him.

Thing is if disability activists/groups rallied against Reform if they were in government, Reform would just call them "woke" and ignore them. Reform's plans are the culmination of a mass media propaganda campaign painting people on forms of disability benefits playactors living the life of riley with £4,000 TV's sipping tequila in the back garden of their mansion.
Now Labour says it goes too far, Tories says it goes too far but I bet some of their grandees or head honchos of their parties would like to do what Reform plan to do.

And that's part of the problem, some people on social media think he'll save the world from the "evils" of immigration, legal or otherwise, even though it was arguably HIM wot started the Boats post Brexit in the first place.

And the worrying thing is alot of unemployed people support reform. Will they still? Probably
