End of life at 35

I am currently at end of life at the age of 35. I have been on property pool for about of two months. I have been given Band-A two bedroom. Medical grounds. I can’t really do downstairs,toilet I feel like I’m losing my independence I need a downstairs toilet or a bungalow just to make the last couple of months a little bit easier. I got in touch with my local MP because I wasn’t getting anyway on property but didn’t have any luck. I’m still 17 in the queue. Is there any advice anybody could give me Sefton council don’t seem interested I recently went for property. They were six I didn’t get any of them,The house is quite high due to the steps outside the stairs so I can’t go anywhere so my mental health has deteriorated. If anyone could advise me, on anything else I can do I would really appreciate it.

    What a difficult time you are facing. I hope you get a house to call home asap.

    Is there anyone in your medical team that could assist you with the council?

    Do you have any support systems in place dude? Maybe somebody you could ask to chase this matter up for you? Or maybe even CAB?

    In your current position it would be useful if someone else could work on this for you.

    Being confined to the house cant be much fun. If there is somebody or a local service, or charity that can help then maybe you can access funding , or support that can help you get out now and then?

    You must have enough on your plate as it is?

    Hi, I used to reside in the sefton council and property pool plus area and was in a similar situation to tobytom but not at the end of life stage

    I was also placed in the band A group on health/disability grounds by property pool plus and over a 6 month period placed bids on approx 12 bungalows and 10 ground floor flats but was unsuccessful in the end I had to move out of the area where I had lived all my life and rent a private bungalow

    I did a few investigations on about a dozen of the properties I had placed unsuccessful bids on and it appears they are now occupied foreign born tenants

    I dont know if this is one vision housing policy or they have been forced by central government or sefton council to house foreign born tenants/asylum seekers but in my experience this seems to be the case
