Pip running out of time.

Hi all,

My pip review form was returned to department for communities as I'm in NI ,feb this year,pip ends mid Sept. Got the usual texts I think four in all stating my claim was being progressed and I may still need an assessment etc.last text was a week ago,said I'd still be paid pip in meantime and basically the same thing as the other messages, Here's my worry, do I need to contact them as they haven't exactly stated its extended or do I just take for granted it is as per the text. I've never gone this far with pip assessments I've usually had an assessment within two months of returning my form and evidence. This is my fourth review. I dread the thought of any contact with them,beyond dread.

Help or advice appreciated.

    Im in the same boat , returned form in feb , got latest text a week ago and pip ends in 5 weeks. The process is discusting , first the never ending wait that makes you ill followed by the humiliating interview where you have to repeat yourself again and again. I tried to ring up last week and gave up after a few mins , just havnt got the energy for this bull ____.

    You should still recieve your pip payments while you wait for the outcome of the review😊 Hopefully you won't be waiting too much longer.

    @DAZZWER2000 I must say the anxiety is choking me. It has been all last yr alone knowing this was coming. I am loathing the very idea of going over and over it all again. My last assessment via phone was by a junior nurse, she was absolutely horrible ,when I said something she kept changing it I repeated it four times and she still put her slant on it, I refused to bend to her,and kept repeating what I said in a low steady non confrontational voice. I was in a state of collapse after and paranoid. I'm hitting 60 in two months there's no joy in life,there's no life with this hanging over us. I am afraid to look out of my eyes.

    @Mary_Scope Yes I thought as much, but the entire thing has the life force zapped out of me. I'm really fit for nothing. Can barely function tbh. Thank you.
