Hi I would like to find out my husband has heart and severe kidney problems and had to give up driving due to his heart and he uses patient transport a lot and walks with a zimmer and its for the patient transport to get him dropped of in front of our home as he has had problems getting dropped off

Hi,

If there's a wall or fence in front of your home, there's nothing stopping you placing a non-official disabled sign on it to politely warn other drivers that the space is needed. They are not legally obliged to comply but I'd like to hope most people would be considerate if they know.
