    It must be so awful for them. I feel very lucky that we don't get temperatures like that.

    I think i mentioned it before, but the man from my corner shop, he was recently back in Pakistan, and he said everything is shut until about 17:00, all his extended family stay inside with the air conditioning on throughout the day.

    The poor of course, like those mentioned in the article, they have no choice but to endure. Imagine sleeping on the roof in desperation? They are seeing the difference between night and daytime temperatures lessen, year on year.

    Out of the 1.5 billion population of India, I imagine that applies to the vast majority.

    I wish my climate change denying sibling was forced to spend a few weeks out there, i'd like to know if it changed their mind. 🙄

    I asked in the shop last night, and the son said the poor people get the worst of both worlds in some regions, as their houses are freezing in the winter. We don't appreciate how lucky we are, quite frankly. Some of us here would be begging on the streets if too disabled to work.
