I am a pensioner I have multiple health issues that now limit my once active life.. I am at home most of the time and usually find myself sitting at my computer much of the day, I don't mind my own company but also realise that it is not so healthy to be alone this much. I lost my husband almost 4 years ago after 54 years together, just a few months after he died our 2 old Bichons dogs followed him. We always had dogs and I miss a canine companion as much as I miss my dear husband, I have resisted adopting more dogs as I worry my health would prevent me being able to give the exercise needed or just clean up poop from my garden..

Hi @diordolly and a warm welcome to the community from me!

Thank you for telling us a little about yourself, I'm very sorry to hear about your husband and your dogs passing. Fifty four years is an incredible amount of time and I bet you made some amazing memories together💜

What sort of things do you like to do on the computer? Do you have any other interests or things you like to do? AgeUK have Friendship services for older people that may be worth looking at if you feel like you would like some company😊

You can add your daughter in law as a named driver online through your Motability Scheme Account or by calling their insurance provider, Direct Line Motability (DLM) at 0300 037 3737 and there is more information on this process here.

Lovely to have you here and I look forward to seeing you around the community!

you can add another person by logging into your mobility account and from there go into your insurance and you can add a person in there you will need their driving licence number.
