Hi everyone. I wanted to share something born out of pure frustration with the UK welfare system. Most of us here know exactly what it feels like to face robotic scripts, lost paperwork and endless walls of bureaucracy when we are at our lowest.I started a blog, but let me be absolutely clear. This is not another dry, boring guide or a collection of official PDF instructions. There are plenty of those out there.Instead, it is a raw, completely honest chronicle of my real life warfare against the system. Hi Mary, thanks for reaching out! To answer your question shortly: I’m not the one waiting for the Tribunal-the system is currently waiting for me. Thanks to a total mess-up by a caseworker who literally turned back the clock by two years in an official notice (accusing me of being late for a decision that hadn't even been made yet), their entire defense just fell apart.I didn't want to waste my energy arguing inside that broken loop. Instead, I went onto the online system and started a completely separate, independent action for Abuse of Process. They’ve been blocking my Any Time Revision application, but under the 2013 Regulations, if there is a clear Official Error, there are no time limits at all for fixing it.As a result, the Tribunal has just issued an official court order. The DWP has a hard, non-negotiable deadline of September 11th to hand over all the hidden files. Meanwhile, I’ve been given full peace of mind and an official green light to not lift a finger while the court reviews my evidence pack.The system probably assumed that a disabled claimant, isolated at home, would just panic and fold. They forgot that when the machine completely stalls, you can just step outside their rules and beat them with pure logic. So right now, with a cup of tea in hand, I’m just chilling on my garden chair, watching them sweat before their big confession on September 11th.

Honestly, I don't really care whether they do or not, because either way, they are completely trapped! 😉If they actually manage to scrape together a response by September 11th, they will have to explain to a judge why my statutory files magically vanished from their system—something their own staff already admitted to in writing on my Journal. They will have to justify a ridiculous time-travel error where they accused me of being two years late for a decision issued in 2026.And if they miss the deadline out of pure incompetence? Even better. The Tribunal will simply issue a strict reminder or a non-compliance order, and their administrative silence will become the ultimate proof of their ongoing systemic abuse.The beauty of this position is that the pressure is entirely off my chest and burning directly on their desks. I’ve set the procedural traps on both ends of the month—September 11th and September 22nd.

What was this originally about. What did they loose your paperwork too? You said they admitted it in your online diary, does that mean it's a universal credit dispute? If it is I hope they have not stopped your benefit. I have a friend that as been struggling with DWP about her ESA for years. If not for living with her dad and getting PIP I don't think she would of been able to eat. She had 2 court dates where dwp was meant to supply her paperwork and evidence supporting why they had stopped her benefit. On both occasions the judge was livid with them. She went to court a 3rd time and now I think it's sorted. Last I heard she was trying to sort out the back pay. I hope you have enough to live on if this something similar. These systems are often a pain in the ****.

Hi Anglocath,Thank you so much for sharing your friend's story. It is a textbook example of how the DWP operates, but it also proves that pure, stubborn endurance wins in the end. I am so glad she finally got it sorted and is reclaiming her back pay!To answer your questions: yes, this is a Universal Credit dispute combined with a Personal Independence Payment (PIP) backlog. They haven't stopped my regular payments, so I am safe and have enough to live on-they are simply trapping my long-term statutory entitlements and historic back pay.It started because they continuously ignored my "Anytime Revision" application on the grounds of Official Error under Regulation 11. They tried to claim I was "too late" to challenge them, but when I pushed for a manual data review, their local case manager explicitly admitted in writing in my online Journal that my mandatory statutory decisions (the LT54 forms dating back to 2019) are completely missing from their system.When they realized I uncovered this clerical manipulation, they panicked and launched a hostile campaign of 12 telephone calls in 24 hours to force an automated health assessment, directly breaching my approved medical Reasonable Adjustments (which restrict contact strictly to the online Journal due to my severe migraines and panic-induced speech paralysis).That is why I bypassed their internal complaints loop and went straight to the Tribunal for Abuse of Process. Now, the court is holding the whip. Whether they supply the files by September 11th or make the judge livid by ignoring the order, their administrative trap has completely collapsed.
