    Ah that's really sad news about the trees! I've been down to Kew a few times over the past years as it's quite easy to get to from where I live. It's a beautiful place.

    The greenhouse they're talking about definitely looked a bit rusty last time I went, so I can see why they need to work on it. Hopefully they can restore it to its former glory so it can be there for generations to come.

    And though it's a shame to fell the mature trees, it's very cool that they've managed to get some of those really rare ones growing in their nursery. I'm sure many of them will be back and looking magnificent again in the future.

    By the way, if anyone's down in London and on Universal Credit or Pension Credit, you can get in to Kew for a £1 by showing proof of benefits. Not many places that offer that kind of discount!
