NHS ILL HEALTH RETIREMENT

Hi, I’m new here and wonder if anyone can offer any advice. I have ME/CFS diagnosed 20 years ago. I have struggled at work but have muddled through with reasonable adjustments etc. However since getting Covid my condition has seriously worsened and I am now applying for IHR. I reduced my hours to 3 days to support me staying at work and have since reduced them further to 2 days.. I know there is supposed to be a safegaurd so when my pension is calculated I’m not penalised for reducing my hours but not sure how I go about it, any advice would be appreciated
