Sick note for 3 weeks, asked to complete WCA50 form

hi everyone i sent a sick note to uc today first time in years. It was for 3 weeks i expect to be off less than that as im awating some treatment. But then ill be back to work, but i was sent a message saying they were sending me a wca50 form to fill in, why would they do this im not plsnning on being off long term. I even told then that. Its expected to be a short term period of sickness until i have my treatment. For a condition that they are already aware off. So do i have to fill in this form. Or can i just ignore it and explain to them that im back in work as i understand you get 4 weeks to fill it in snd i will be by then.

    Hello @cdf99, Rachel's question is really important because if you have LCW (which may not be in payment) or LCWRA, it could be that you've received the UC50 because they are reviewing you after reporting the fit note.

    Usually, they would only refer you to have a work capability assessment and issue a UC50 if you are off signed off for a month, so it is quite unusual at 3 weeks, so I would be interested to hear your answer to @Rachel_Scope's question.
