Sport or No Sport- Help Us Understand Movement, Fitness & Quality of Life
We are looking for adults living with cerebral palsy who participate in recreational sport AND those who do not to help us understand the relationship between sport participation, physical fitness and quality of life.
Participation involves simple physical assessments (strength, balance, coordination, and endurance) and a quality-of-life questionnaire. The study is 12-weeks long and testing would only be done at the beginning (0 weeks) and end (12 weeks). Participant would be compensated with a £15 amazon voucher for the time committed to each round of testing (total of £30).
Participants are expected to:
- Live within Yorkshire or East Midlands region
- Independently mobile (with or without a walking aid)
Kindly contact Adesola at a.abiodun@shu.ac.uk for further questions, or if you are interested in the study.
