Hello new to the community. How long until UC decision?

Had my UC phone interview for Work Caperbility today the phone call was 3 hours long totally exhausted 😞

Filled in forms, they got them 28th March, as I Said stressful 3 hour interview today, for 2 conditions, 15th September.

How long before I hear to what I am or not entitled too.

Hi @uggboots2222 and welcome to the community. I'm sorry the call was so long, it's no wonder you feel exhausted. They should make a decision within 4 weeks and they will let you know via your journal.

How are you feeling about it?

Yes I have never in my life had such a intense phone interview in my life, I'm 62 now and got a couple of health problems now which I have had for over a year, Had to claim UC when my Husband died in January, just hope it's a good outcome, so struggling at the moment.

The interviews can definitely take a lot out of you and be emotionally overwhelming @uggboots2222, how are you feeling today? I'm really sorry to hear about your husband's passing, that must be incredibly difficult, are you getting support at the moment?

Talking to cruise bereavement counselling, putting in sick notes, job centre making me go on Restart course now, just can't be around lots of people at the moment. This month just a phone call next month a meeting, hope lcwra comes through I hope I will be approved. Fingers crossed.

I'm glad to hear you're getting some bereavement counselling @uggboots2222. Do you feel that it's helping?

I really hope that the LCWRA is awarded so you don't have to go on the course. Do you have any friends or family around to support you?
