Random amount on carers allowance today.

Hi, we are really concerned as my son gets carers allowance to care for me. It hits the bank on a sat but I think it's mon to sun and the bank show it early. Last week the full amount for a week hit bank on a Thursday and now 9 days later it went jn but for only 57.64. Just really worried something has gone wrong. We wrnt on gov.one and it's saying my pip is still active. We will stress about this over the weekend as we can't ring anyone til monday. Ai said it was to do with a calendar redshift every 18 months but I've never heard of that. Could anyone shed some light please and do we need to panic. Thank you

    @stratos Is he certain it's from carer's allowance? Sometimes their payments have weird references. I don't want to worry you further but I don't know what the calendar reshift is and haven't heard of that before. It could be things like they've recalculated and realised they had underpaid or something simple. Are you going through a PIP review at the moment? If not I don't think there's any reason to worry.

    Hi, no I have an ongoing award. Just really worried something is going on that we dont know about yet.

    It may be worth contacting the Carer's Allowance Unit just so you have some answers and peace of mind as what has happened @stratos 😊
