Hi ive just been awarded lcwra i heard from them 6 days after my asessment to say id got it my first sick note was in feb will i get back pay theyve not said anything

LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods before LCWRA is eligible for payment. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

With the information given, you are likely to have some backpay.

Backpay is dealt with separately to your monthly award.

You'll know when this has been done as a letter will be added to your Journal stating the amount owed due to underpayment and new versions of your statements will be added. The money will then be sent within a few working days.
