We'll see the final episode tonight which I didn't hear mentioned at the end of last week's programme…I don't usually watch ITV but no doubt it's been promoted on the channel.

I hadn't understood why Bruce Balden appeared in the latest photograph but not interviewed last week so that mystery is cleared up.

We'll need tissues for this one, I'm told 😉

    I'm not able to watch tonight, but I'm looking forward to catching up on this tomorrow. I'll get the tissues at the ready! I think I said in your other thread that I found it so bittersweet, so I'm sure there'll be more of that to come. Some really touching moments alongside some sad ones.

    I know a few have remained friends anyway, but I wonder if some of the group will meet up in the future off camera. Must be strange to have this kind of shared connection with others!

    There are a couple of additional 30 minute programs at 7.30 tonight & tomorrow as well.

    Tonight's one looks like the opposite of the main program - where they talk to older people who were alive during Victoria's reign instead of young people.

    That could be interesting. When I was young we had an elderly neighbour who reached 100, though even she wasn't born until Edwards reign.

    I'm also wondering why they've ended the main series at 70. With todays life expectancy, the majority of them probably will make 77.

    No as I only have Freeview.

    I'm hoping that with so much interest this time around - and being the final film - that they'll be screened in chronological order one day.

    Oh I still need to catch up on this! I will make sure that I have plenty of tissues by my side.

    That sounds really interesting @OverlyAnxious. I would love to hear from people who were alive during Victoria's reign. It's my favourite era of history.

    I caught up on this yesterday. I thought it was a really good episode!

    Definitely very sad at points, but sweet to see that so many of them are enjoying their lives and retirements now.

    And it was good to hear some more about the participants opinions of the controversial sides of the series. I loved how strong Jackie was when confronted with Apted's questions - she really stuck up for herself and the other women. Good on her ☺️
