I dont know what I expect
Hi.
I'm here because I asked chatgpt for places for mental health support and this was the result. I dont know what I expect to achieve. Maybe just somewhere or someone to chat with.
Maybe that would help, maybe not.
Basically became disabled a couple years ago, wheelchair users now. Relationship ended as a result. Basically life has just fallen apart.

Hey @justdisabled, welcome to the community. I'm sorry to hear what you've been going through. Becoming disabled can be a huge shift in life and so many things change. It's not easy at all and sometimes life can feel totally out of your control.
I'm sure many of our members will know what it feels like too, so I hope some of them will say hello soon and welcome you to the community. Feel free to join in with any of the chats here at your own pace, there's lots of friendly people around.
Have you had any professional support for your mental health at all? Your GP can usually refer you on to talking therapies if you feel that would be useful, but I know there can be long waits for that.
I hope the community can be a place where you can connect with others and feel a little less alone in what you're going through ☺️
