Child element Universal Credit

Although I have declared that I have a child on my Universal Credit, I am not receiving that part of payment.
She is currently 17 and is at college.
Does anybody know why I may not be receiving the child element?

Hi @nickypick and a warm welcome to the community from me!
Is your daughter in college full time?
Lovely to have you here and I look forward to seeing you around the community😊0 -
Hi, thanks for replying.
Yes, she is in full time education.

Was this a recent claim where you have received your first statement?
Sometimes the first statement is incorrect as something might not have been verified in time.
Also, what type of college course is she doing?
