Closing my claim if I have additional support marker.
Hi, I'm claiming ESA, UC and PIP. I've decided to take early retirement. I was speaking to CAB about a different benefits query. She indicated that she thought I may be an additional support case as I don't get pursued to look for or to prepare to go back to work. In the five years I've had these benefits, I've only had to complete reviews for PIP.
I've done a Google search and as it turns out, closing my claims is not as simple as calling up and requesting that they do that.
I'd appreciate any help with this.
Many thanks.

With ESA & UC there would be one assessment that covers both benefits.
But lots of people have gone a long time without a review, due to covid, backlogs, and changing Government (of the day) priorities.
Routine reviews have only been taking place in very small numbers.
I'm also in the Support/LCWRA Group and - although I'm not 100% sure without checking files I currently can't access - my last review was 2018.
PIP wouldn't be affected by you taking early retirement. Universal Credit & ESA might as they both take pension income into account at various thresholds.

For some reason, I can't edit my post. By help, I'm asking what the process is and do I have to go through a review or anything?
