My adult daughter has recently been informed she could have an illness such as motor neurone disease

She has not had a full diagnosis yet and there are several options it could be but she is having more episodes and is losing the use of her legs. She is still able to walk but is losing feeling in her legs. She is considering whether using walking aids would be a good idea. She has two small children.

The Disabled Living Foundation has some information about walking aids, it might help your daughter choose which would be the best one for her and give her an idea of the types of aids available. http://www.dlf.org.uk/factsheets/walking
I hope this is helpful.
Best wishes
