Hi There
If you click on the following link it will take you to a website which lists different charities and trusts which may be able to help out with a grant towards a new model:
http://www.disability-grants.org/
If you check out your local Dial group then they might be prepared to do the application to these charities for you. If you are receiving benefits for your income then you might be able to apply to your Local Authority for a grant from their Local Welfare Provision. Your LA website will have details on how you might apply for one of these.
I hope this helps.

I had the same issue once and I checked for a local repair company that knew about the make of my washing machine. I asked for their free quote if they looked at my machine. It actually worked out very cheap. When businesses have competition, they will give you a very reasonable quote. It’s well worth considering.
I had mine repaired very cheaply about 4 years ago and it’s still working well today!
Good luck with everything.
