I have one but I don't think you can use the rail card as ID

I think it depends on what you are using it for as some places accept it as photo ID. It would not be helpful for getting specific adjustments but my local leisure centre for example accepts it for concessions for some sessions and one of their memberships.

It's good that you remembered.
Why have countries of the world agreed on mutual recognition of driver's licenses, but there is no mutual recognition of 'disability certificates', 'blue badges' and so on?
A single global type of such documents is needed.0
