I am waiting to be assessed for PIP. I am so very worried. My friends who have had DLA previously have all been kicked off the scheme. I dont hold out much hope.

@Tylerluciefrankie Hi Stella. In contrast I know of people
who are better off after switching from DLA to PIP. It’s important to remember
that each application is different and so you should worry less what has happened
to other people and concentrate on the criteria. How much do you know about PIP
and the scoring system? You may find this
page helpful: it includes a link to a self-assessment. A very warm welcome
to the community!

Did your friends appeal? 65 per cent of appeals are successful.
There is a thread on here How to prepare for PIP assessments, some pages down.0 -
Hi Tylerluciefrankie,
Welcome to the community. Here's the post @Matilda mentions about preparing for your assessment, with a video and lots of tips in the replies.
