I have a personal and professional interest in autism. Last year I completed a Masters degree in Special Ed (Autism), with a special interest in girls/women with autism. I am also a teacher, currently working in a SEN school. I believe in a holistic approach for supporting any child's development, building on strengths and interests. However, I understand the limitations and barriers caused when considering other family or class members needs.

Welcome to Scope's online community! It's great to have you here.
Have you had a look at our Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) category? There's plenty of discussions for you to read and get involved with which I'm sure you'll find interesting.
If you have any questions, please do get in touch.Liam
