That's great news - congratulations, @gazza47! Please do keep us updated.Liam

Also my wife has received a letter from DWP saying that they have all the information needed for a decision, and will write to her soon..... So does that mean it won't be much longer now?

Hi @gazza47,
I'm not sure. @BenefitsTrainingCo, do you have any idea of the normal timeframe for a carers allowance decision?
Liam -
Sorry the letter regarding my wife is for PIP and mobility.... I should've been clearer
-
Oh, my apologies! In that case, it can take between six to eight weeks to find out the result of a PIP assessment. However, if you need to find out more about the status of your claim, then the contact info for ongoing claims is 0345 850 3322.
I hope this helps!Liam -
The letter she received this morning said that they have all the information they need and are going to write to her with a decision and that there was no need to contact them again

In that case, it can take between six to eight weeks to hear back from them. Please do keep us posted on what they say!Liam
