Also my wife has received a letter from DWP saying that they have all the information needed for a decision, and will write to her soon..... So does that mean it won't be much longer now?0

Hi @gazza47,
I'm not sure. @BenefitsTrainingCo, do you have any idea of the normal timeframe for a carers allowance decision?

Sorry the letter regarding my wife is for PIP and mobility.... I should've been clearer0

Oh, my apologies! In that case, it can take between six to eight weeks to find out the result of a PIP assessment. However, if you need to find out more about the status of your claim, then the contact info for ongoing claims is 0345 850 3322.
I hope this helps!0 -
The letter she received this morning said that they have all the information they need and are going to write to her with a decision and that there was no need to contact them again0
