PIP & ESA

Hi all
In June I received letters to tell me that my ESA & Pip had to be reviewed, I suffer from Generalised anxiety disorder & severe depression. I spoke to esa at the end of July & after my doctor sending them a fax it was decided that they had enough information to go on & didn't need to see me, I'm still waiting for a decision! Has anyone else had a similar experience???? I had my pip assessment 2 weeks ago after being refused a home visit, they said they'd looked at my doctors medical notes - are they allowed access to my medical files ??
Thanks in in advance for replies

ESA are in backlog so decisions are taking a while
At some stage you would have given permission to contact your GP for PIP.

Thanks CR, I didn't receive anything from PIP asking or hear anything from my Doc regarding that!! Hmmm strange!
