Hi @nadinejohnson
Citizen's Advice have a webpage on PIP appeals here that you might find useful:
https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/pip/appeals/apply-to-tribunal/
Scope have their own advice page too!
https://www.scope.org.uk/Support/Tips/Disabled-people/PIP-appeals
You might also be interested, if your appeal reaches the tribunal sort of stage, to contact the charity Fightback. They provide a legal professional for a much smaller fee than hiring someone privately, if you felt you would prefer to have that representation, but hopefully, it wouldn't come to that. You could also contact your local citizen's advice- they were really good with me when I claimed PIP!
All the best, and keep us posted with how you're getting on!

@nadinejohnson
Disability Rights site also have a section on PIP appeals. Plus there is the Disability Rights Benefits Handbook with a detailed section on appeals. You have to buy this, from Disability Rights site, but worth the money. I used Disability Rights site and handbook (as well as advice from @Debbie_Scope, Scope benefits advisors and Scope members) to make my appeal. At tribunal hearing I was awarded enhanced both components. -
Thank you Matilda I will certainly be looking into that thank you for your support

Hi and welcome Nadine, I had a PIP appeal last week and it's worth going in my opinion, I represented myself went along with my partner and a very stressful worrying day turns out good. I pre the appeal read every bit of the assessors, and dwp notes made a list of questions and answers and I won the appeal, i wish you the best and hope you get back what your entitled to
