Hi. My daughter Emma suffered a stroke on 18th April 2017. She was just 5 year old. She's now 6. We came home this week from hospital/rehab and now have to adapt to our new normal x

How great that you have her back at home now. We have lots of support and information, take a look at this information for families with a newly diagnosed child.
Have a look at the Parents and Carers category here.
Do check your entitlement to benefits and if your home needs to be adapted to meet your child’s needs, you may be able to get a Disabled Facilities Grant to help with the costs.

Thank you. How's your recovery going? Emma had her stroke at school after an aneurysm burst in her brain. She was on life support for nearly 3 weeks and it's been a long 6 months getting to where we are now x0

Yes my Stroke was also a Bleed (Brain Haemorhage)
My recovery has been like a rollercoaster.
Lot's off up and downs to be honest.
My original Stroke took out my left hand side but I have ticked all off the boxes (can't, won't be able to)
