Hi, well I never thought my life would take this path. I was diagnosed as type of 1 diabetic at the age of 9 in 1978. It was very doom and gloom about the mortality. However for those who progressed faced many battles. I have lost my leg below knee. This was fine until I badly broke my other ankle and ended with charcots arthopathy.
I have a husband, 2 children, 7 dogs, 11 cats and a pet sheep! Needless to say we live in a very rural farmhouse.

Hi @Twolf
Welcome to the community, I love animals and Im a bit jealous of your menagerie and farmhouse!!
It sounds like it is tough for you though, do you get much support? How do you find it living rurally with mobility issues?
It's a friendly site here, so do have a look around and get involved.0
