ESA

My daughter Sadie had a few medical problems and was getting ESA.  This was stopped and on appeal was reinstated.  Now the DWP want to appeal against the decision.  Someone from the DWP was there and agreed to the decision.  Why did the DWP person there object to it there and then save a lot of aggravation.  What can she do now.

    Have they appealed the decision or just asked for a statement of reason ?

    The first stage for them to be able to appeal is to find an error of law. To do this they ask for an SOR from the judge. It does happen but not often. The DWP normally put a tribunal award into payment 5-8 weeks after the decision, which gives them time to try and find an error to appeal on
