I have had Renal problems since the tender agemail of 15 years. What' your story? I think now more than ever we need to talk to each ther, and help and make a stronger effort to show the goodness we all have come to acquire and share when illness strikes. Sometimes it makes you more of a human being. We need to remember our strength, for eachother. Let' share and help our brothers and sisters. If I can help, please say hello.

Thank you very much @steve51
So what'should your own stories if I may ask.
I find that once people start sharing and talking, they start to realise that there are similarities in experiences. It's comforting to know you are not alone and ideas get shared. Healthcare organisations do shared ownership well to manage the physical - pain, medications, appointments but I think we have an emotional/spiritual need that is often overlooked. Saying this, services in this area are understandably stretched. However I'm talking more on a 1to1 personal and human need to connect with the nurses and doctors who often have no time to allow connection and rapport. I think it is such a gift when you walk away from an an appointment knowing you have been heard.
I have had a bad experience to divulge a vested interest. However, I want to look toward a solution. Like I said before I often wonder 'How can I help you (doctor nurse) , to help me?'0 -
