Reflecting on 2017

Overall it was a very difficult year as my overall condition worsened as too did my most dear relationships. However, out of the blue, I had a chance meeting with a doctor here in Mexico and he accomplished something no other has been able to do. He relieved 90% of my abdominal pain. It was the one type of pain I simply could not fight through. No doctor could identify it, let alone help it yet halfway home in the car from this doctor's first treatment session for my neck, back, and shoulder pain that I said out loud, "I think my stomach pain is gone! Now, THAT was a 2017 highlight! My simplest perhaps even most childlike highlight came in December. I got the chance to demo a Levo C3 Standing Power Wheelchair. What a thrill. It exceeded my expectations in almost every way. My purchase quote? $52,000!! (USD.)

thanks @TopKitten he already came back to me a year earlier (i didn't know he had cheated on me then) and i entertained him for a while until some stuff didn't add up and i looked into a few things and found out he was with someone at that time and then i found out he had first been dating her while we together (no idea how he managed that because he hogged all my time, he must have lied about being at work is all i can think of). anyway good riddance to him for another year at least hopefully. lol.

this year seems better, i've got a partial diagnosis and the prognosis looks not bad at all. i have a bulge at the lower of my spine that might repair itself. the consultant says the fact that i have less numbness in my limbs now is likely a sign it is healing itself and to wait a few months and see how that goes. i have a lot of symptoms of MS but there is no sign of that in my spine so i'm relieved about that also there's some extra bone on my neck that could be causing my symptoms that i still have, it's risky to operate but if i get worse i've to go back before my next appointment and he will do another MRI scan and then discuss further options. i've been referred to another specialist by the spine guy, and my GP needs to refer me to just one more consultant and i'm on my way to being sorted hopefully.

don't even care that my GP is poop and i can't get an appointment for over a month, nor do i care that my PIP claim has been awarded 0 points. feel like at last i'm getting somewhere after the past few years of neglecting myself and ignoring symptoms until they got really bad.
