Debts removed from savings when calculating ESA?

Scenario:
I am receiving income based ESA. I have between six and sixteen thousand pounds worth of savings. If I have credit card debts with a zero percent interest rate will these debts be removed from my savings when calculating my ESA entitlement?

I don't know for certain but I sincerely doubt it.

I am fairly sure that if you used your savings to clear these debts that the DWP would view this as deprivation of capital
