Hi @Lostlady ,
Welcome to Scope's online community!
There's a good online database here where you can search to see what grants might be available: www.turn2us.org.uk
Your local independent living service may also know of any grants you can access: https://www.scope.org.uk/Support/Service-directory#panel-map
I also know on a lot of items, if you have proof of disability (your husband's DLA works as proof) then you can get V.A.T relief on items like a high rise toilet.
Hope that helps,

Hi @Lostlady
Are you in touch with an Occupational Therapist?
A Disabled Facilities Grant is a mandatory ‘means-tested’ financial grant. It helps meet the cost of adapting a property (including mobile homes and houseboats) where a disabled person lives.
You could try our online grant checker, too.
Best wishes, Alex
