Hi Pippa. I don't want to sound like I'm the only one who suffers but lately my pain is beyond control to the extent I have been buying extra pain relief ,,  which doesn't work for more than an hour,, or doubling up on my medication. I'm afraid of damaging my inner organs but the pain overrides rational thought

I'm so sorry to hear that @lynmoffett, I know how debilitating it can be to live with pain and feel like you have no control over it. Have you talked to your GP about your concerns? If you haven't already, it might be worth investigating and discussing pain clinic options too.
