DO THE TRIBUNAL HAVE LEA WAY

Hi.I have my tribunal apeal coming up the first one was ajourned,For more medical back up,Which I now have..I just wanted to know for example you need 8 points for the standard award for daily living part,If the tribunal could only reach 7 points can they mark it up to 8 points ?? If they think ou should get it.

No, Tribunal can only award you the number of points that relate to the descriptors you satisfy. Of course, if they think you meet a higher-scored descriptor then they'll award you accordingly and this might put you up to or over the 8. For example, DWP decision awarded me 11 points daily living including 2 for food prep. Tribunal decided that I should get 4 points for food prep which put me up to 13.
