My wife is getting pip enhanced on both parts. She had a stroke in September 2009 & has been unable to work since then. She has never attempted to claim any other benefits. What else could she claim? I suggested years ago she could try for ESA but she didn't want another medical & feared DWP would stop her DLA & make her find a job.

Hi @spire2003, have you had a look at the calculator on our page about benefits?
The calculator can help you find out if you are entitled to any other benefits, and you can also read about different types of benefits.

Unlikely to have the contribution record now for contributory ESA. Means-tested would depend on your circumstances as a couple.
