Morning All,
I have just joined ,not sure if I can get any advice on my PTSD. Have been recognised as having a disability ,long term but recovery is expected eventually. Just a quick question does anybody know if I can get any help with my rent, bills etc as I'm about to go on half pay and will not be able to cope on this amount .If this site doesn't include mental disability I apologise in advance.

Hi @Mikey200kg, welcome to the community.
Have you tried our benefits calculator? It may help you to find out if you're eligible for any benefits.
I hope this helps, get in touch if you have any questions! -
Hello @Mikey200kg and a warm welcome to the community. YES, the site does recognize mental disability, and you'll find lots of other members here who have experienced or are experiencing it.
Not a benefits advisor, I can't help there, but Lasian_Scope has pointed you in a good direction, Where your medical issues are concerned, you might like to have a look at the 'Mental health issues' thread here https://community.scope.org.uk/categories/mental-health-issues
You are among friends here Keep in touch.
Warmest best wishes
Richard
