    Hello @whistles Vesta is a brand of prepacked cuisine from around the world.

    To many of us Brits in the 70's the height of sophistication,.

    What amused me was the Vesta Curries you got a pack of some sort of meat with sultanas and apple plus as sachet of some tacky tasteless sauce. All ready to go into a pan. Had rice with it.  Coloured bright yellow.

    So many E numbers and really is that Indian Cuisine.  Did Chicken Chow Mein Beef Curry, Lamb Korma. and others were Lasagne  Terrible and revolting..

    Then Delia came on the scene.  Thank god. Introduced us all to the real stuff. Not forgetting Ken Hom. All  plus Floyd who started the whole thing of cooking the original cuisine.

    Understand I think they were called Vesta. Because Vesta's are the original name for matches. So I suppose it was supposed to set your senses on fire.

    More like use a Vesta to strike to the box and bin the thing  .lol

    Gosh end of History bit all now am waiting for round of applause.

    never had them but am sure its digestive biscuits chocolate and marshmallows, sons birthday yesterday and had to make rocky road, basically ill health in a bar lol
