DLA to PIP

Hi my daughter has just been refused PIP after being awarded DLA for life due to her Cerebral Palsy. ( Left sided Hemiplegia)
She has one leg disfigured and shorter than other leg by about half an inch. She suffers Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome since she was a baby due to her CP. She also gets tired walking and has to stop and rest roughly every 20 metres. She has to pace get days due to exhaustion from walking and the constant sickness bouts. She also is incontinent sometimes and always carries a spare set of clothing round in case she says herself. She sometimes still wets bed at night. She also suffers anxiety and depression.
I have wrote asking for a Mandatory Reconsideration, including photographic evidence of leg deformity which we showed assessor on the day.
Any advice on this would be very welcome.

Hi kizzy and welcome
You have done the right thing asking for MR. Unfortunately success at MR is low so be prepared to go to appeal
Have a look at the B&W self test

The criteria for PIP and DLA are different and not all people that receive DLA will meet the criteria for PIP
