Hi @bej and a warm welcome to the community. Good to have you with us, and you've come to the right place for support and information

Can you tell us a little more about yourself, and perhaps the kind of areas in which you would like to find support?
I look forward to getting to know you,
Warmest best wishes,
Richard0 -

My main concern is i have a son with cp. And learning difficulties. He has a flat not far from me. But he needs prompting to do stuff. He is not quick thinking and vunerable. Lots of people out their would and have taken advantage of him. I am struggling to help him and myself. He does not have friends and is struggling with his cp. He doesnt mind being in his own company as he is used to it. Have tried getting him support. The only support available sadly if for people with very servere learning difficulties. Also nothing available locally.0

Hi @bej
Thank you for getting in touch.
I can imagine that it is a very worrying situation for you. Has your son mentioned that he is finding things difficult?
I have found a Community Service in Leeds that you or your son might want to contact for a chat. I include a link to the information here:
https://www.scope.org.uk/support/services-directory/community-services-leeds
I hope that helps. Stay in touch.
